My mother raised paints and quarters for show and ranch when I was little. We moved to California when I was little, and she ended up having to sell off her stock. Fast forward to my teen years, when I was given the best gift of all time- a 31-year old Arabian gelding named Zeke. Zeke didn't know he was ancient. In fact, he could outwalk most bigger, younger horses going at faster paces. He was also full of attitude.
Fast forward a couple more years. Inevitably, I had to put Zeke down. I moved to South Dakota.
