Horses have my heart I owned,trained and showed horses for almost 50 years & taught riding lessons for over 20 yrs. My first horse was a Mustang caught before you had to go through the BLM adoptions. He was only about 6 months old when I got him & he was my best friend for over 32 years before he passed away. We rode in shows,on trails and just spent time together. My heart broke the day he died & I still miss him greatly. I also owned a TN Walking horse for over 10 years before he passed away. He stood 17 hands barefoot and we traveled alot to shows. Other horses I have owned & loved were: 3 Appaloosas(1 leopard,2 blanket), a Thoroughbred, 4 Quarter horses, a Welsh/Arab cross, 2 more TN Walking horses and a Shetland pony.
I don't have any horses now but wish I did. I miss spending time with & working with them.
